The staff of Coopstuff was visiting New York City for the showing of Coop’s work mentioned below, and we had to remain because of the aftermath of the tragic terrorist attack on the World Trade Center.

Everyone is safe and sound, and we should be returning to our offices within a week to get back to business as usual.

We thank you for your patience, and we offer our heartfelt condolences to all of the victims and their families and friends.

Coop and Ruth will be appearing in the Rotten Apple on Saturday, September 8th, at the DEITCH PROJECTS gallery.

This giant blowout bash is being thrown to commemorate Coop’s foray into high fashion—he’s got TEN PAGES in the September 2001 issue of PAPER Magazine!

 

 

Be there as the fashion world gets its first look at Coop’s idea of couture (dat’s Franch fer Egg-Spensive). The gallery promises other entertainment too, but who cares?

There’s a SECOND Coop poster for the CUSTOMIZED! Show!

Yes, friends, they’ve loaded up the truck and they moved to ... ESCONDIDO! The CUSTOMIZED! show has had a couple of additions and subtractions (mostly in the actual CARS included) and the show is opening in Escondido CA—just north of San Diego in case you felt like showing up.

The museum is located at 340 N. Escondido Blvd in Escondido, CA. Phone them at 760/839-4120 for more details.

The show runs from Feb 11 to May 27, 2001, and admission is FREE on Mar 7th, April 4th and May 2nd—thanks to the good folk at Wells Fargo Bank.
