We know some of you are buying for those special someones on your Naughty Lists, and we are shipping this week and again next week to give the USPS every shot at making the deadline.
Fingers are crossed ~

We managed to secure a precious few of these long-gone babies, and we’re passing them on to you!
These are the regular edition of Devil’s Advocate, which is now in its Fourth Printing. These are First Printing, which makes them that much more rare and special. We’ve sold these on eBay for $75 each but have them priced at $60 to reward everyone for being so patient while we moved to our new facility.
Scroll down to see the First Printing “Add to Cart” button ~ then press it for all you’re worth!
No guarantees how long they will last, at this or any price!

Not to get all pushy on you or anything, but as the saying goes, Supplies Are Limited and we will not be getting any more in. We know a lot of you wanted these books for Christmas, but hey, does Tax Day count?
Get ‘em while they’re hot….

Not to jinx anything, but we’re hoping to be able to fill our back orders for books soon ~
More as we know it….
March 27, 2012
We’re not denying it’s been a slow road, but after a series of challenges, many ongoing, we are finally back on the horse - the Shipping Orders horse that is.
A ridiculous amount of orders went out today - Poor USPS! - and we’re working hard to get completely caught up asap.
The site is absolutely current on what is and is not in stock, which should eliminate orders coming in that we can’t fill.
Again, we appreciate your patience.
March 26, 2012
Although we’ve been diligent about keeping the site current on what is and is not in stock, we’ve been getting orders for stuff clearly marked “Back Ordered,“ like the books, and some things that have long ago been removed from the site entirely (the BoingBoing tees).
We’re scratching our heads over here (yeah, our heads!) and would love to know how these orders are getting through.
In the meantime, we’re also sorting through them and canceling/refunding, so if you ordered a book or a BoingBoing shirt recently, look for an email letting you know the order is canceled.
Sorry about that. The spirits must be restless….

In case you’re wondering what the F is up around here - and we know we certainly have been as well - here’s some info:
First, we moved, which posed a huge set of problems (none of them yours).
Second, a site as popular as this (and that’s been around since 1998) gets a lot of spam. A LOT of spam. At least 1,000 pieces a day. Well, compound that with an unknown glitch that caused our mail program to download Every Single Email between 12 and 18 times, and it will come as no surprise that our mail client just took a giant crap, corrupted the entire database, and told us to Get Bent.
When we finally got it to work at all we were looking at over 140,000 messages in the inbox. Yes you read that right.
We’re still trying to assess all the damages from moving and we hope to get to a point of filling the orders we are only now able to download very soon.
We’re well aware that our problems are not your problems, and we understand if you want to cancel your orders.
The good news: Now we can even receive your emails telling us to do that. Until this week we could not.
Please bear with us as we do our best to limp forward as fast as possible given all the restrictions that block our path.
