Shipping Information

As you know, Coop’s merchandise is diverse in both weight and physical dimension. While our shopping cart system can know the weight and dimension of each article, unfortunately it’s impossible for the cart to know which orders require more than one type of packaging - a poster will not fit in the same package with a book or a statue, etc.

For this reason, the shipping is broken down by cost of merchandise purchased, NOT by the individual items.

We ship EVERYTHING via Insured Priority Mail, which costs a minimum of $6.50 on postage and insurance ALONE (for the West coast; more for points east, and going up again it seems like every six months) and takes nothing into account for any type of handling charge. And unlike the Post Office, we have only raised our shipping rates once in over nine years.

To our International Customers (and we love you):

Overseas shipping is via Express or Priority Mail (Express being insured and trackable, and delivered in about 5 business days, while Priority is not trackable or insured, and takes closer to 10 business days). Please email before you order so we can calculate the correct shipping price for you, as the shopping cart just does a multiplier on the domestic rate.

Worth mentioning: Buyer is responsible for all duties and customs costs for orders shipping outside of the US. Coopstuff is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged shipments. Claims for loss or damage must be made by the buyer (of course we will help) – but that’s USPS policy and much as we know it sucks, we can’t control it.
